Fishers Island hosts the summer season. Especially this year!

With the start of summer come many questions about COVID-19 protocols. Considering the recommendations of the CDC and taking into account New York State guidelines, the following policies are currently in place on Fishers Island. Please help us continue to stay safe by doing your part as we all enter a busy and fun summer.

June 24, 2021

Today we close the emergency chapter of the pandemic – as of today, New York’s COVID-19 state of emergency has ended. Federal guidelines from the CDC will remain in place, which means that if you are not vaccinated, you should always wear a mask in public indoors. Masks will also always be mandatory in public transport and in certain other settings, such as healthcare establishments. Tackling COVID and vaccinating New Yorkers remain our top priorities, but the emergency is over, and it’s thanks to the hard work of New Yorkers and most importantly all of our essential workers. We will continue to focus on recovering from COVID and reimagining and rebuilding New York City.
