Harbor Freight Tools, a California-based retail company, plans to open a store in Germantown in mid-fall, according to a press release from the company.

Harbor Freight Tools considers itself “America’s go-to source for affordable tools at the lowest price,” the website states. The first store opened in 1980 in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Germantown location will be 21,000 square feet, which will be an advantage, said Craig Hoffman, director of corporate communications and content.
