A sewage treatment plant will soon be built in the naya gaon village of halka kharar: Anmol Gagan Mann


SAS NAGAR/CHANDIGARH: The Minister of Tourism and Cultural Affairs, Labour, Investment Promotion and Grievance Redress of Punjab, Mrs. Anmol Gagan Mann today installed the statue of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh in the Chowk near the Nawan Gaon village committee office of Halka Kharar. She said that from today this Chowk will be known as Bhagat Singh Chowk. After installing the Shaheed-e-Azam statue, she said that in view of the problems of the people, a sewage treatment plant (STP) will soon be built by the state government in the village of Naya Gaon. Earlier, the Cabinet Minister was warmly welcomed by a huge gathering upon arriving in Naya Gaon.

Addressing the audience, the Minister said our heroes like Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh will always live in our thoughts. She said it is our responsibility to pass on their thought and their story to our new generation. She said that Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, while disapproving of slavery, laughingly embraced the hanging rope for the freedom of the people of the country and prioritized death and sacrifice for the country. His sacrifice for the country will be remembered.

She said that the Punjab government under Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Mann is committed to providing basic facilities, clean environment, fair and transparent administration to the people of the state. She said that, keeping in mind the problems of the people of Naya Gaon, a sewage treatment plant (STP) will soon be built here by the state government. On this occasion, she gave instructions to the administrative officials to quickly solve the daily problems encountered by the population. She said that every promise made by the government to the people will be kept. She said the state government is continuously striving to ensure the people’s comprehensive development.
