THE GARGUNNOCK VILLAGE STORE

The Store

The Store is open 7 days per week and is of a convenience type providing everything from lottery, newspapers, wines and spirits, fresh fruit and vegetables, fresh butcher meats, fresh bakery products, deli produce, rental dvds, various grocery products to all household goods.

In the past two years the Store has undergone a refit with a new eco-friendly remote open refrigeration unit replacing the individual integrated units and the redundant Post Office area converted to our new Wine and Beer Cellar.

The Store interior display has been redesigned to make shopping more customer orientated and accessible, but with sympathy to the lovely authentic paned glass window and door to the Store.

A traditional awning with the Store name has been fitted to the front and traditional A-boards advertise the new produce and product lines now available in the Store.



Extended Variety.

The shop now stocks butcher meat, pies and produce from the RENOWNED and AWARD winning local butchers John Brown and Skinners from the neighbouring villages of Buchlyvie and Kippen. The new refrigeration display and exterior display has allowed a 4 fold increase in the quantity of fresh fruit and vegetables to be retailed. The quality being guaranteed by the new refrigeration system.
It is now possible to purchase fresh all the ingredients to provide a healthy cooked 3 course dinner without opening a tin or frozen packet.

A fine wine and connoisseur beer section has been added to the well stocked wines and beer section by converting the redundant Post Office area to a Wine and Beer Cellar.

Carol conducts tastings every Saturday afternoon.

Our Vinter conducts Wine Tastings every 6 weeks, on a Friday Evening.
