Our Wine Policy

Our wine buying and selling policy is very simple. We only
wish to purvey wines from our store which we enjoy ourselves.
There is no value at all in an undrinkable wine and very
poor value in a badly made wine at whatever price!
We stock good wine to be enjoyed at a range of prices, from
the amazingly well-made but underrated and unfashionable
Spanish wines, to the mighty aristocrats from the
vineyards in Bordeaux. A bottle of wine should be a pleasant
and casual interlude, or a once in a lifetime experience to be
planned and anticipated with great relish. We believe that
enjoying a carefully chosen bottle of wine should be treated as a
thrilling encounter, an indulgence: something to savour and remember.
